• Our pupils are currently receiving soccer coaching from FAI soccer coaches, cricket coaching from Rush Cricket club and Gaelic football/hurling coaching from O'Dwyer's GAA club.

• Policy Review: We are have recently ratified our Critical Incident Policy and our Substance Misuse policy. Thanks to those who volunteered to be on the sub-committee.

• Standardised Testing in Reading, Maths and Spelling will take place from 17th-24th May for 1st-6th classes.

• Santry Athletics will take place on Wednesday, 5th June in Morton Stadium.

• Active Week will take place on the week of 17th June. Sports Day will take place on Tuesday, 18th June, weather permitting.

• Our school choir will be going on a trip to the Grand Canal Theatre to see a performance of the Lion King on 5th June at 7pm. This trip will be subsidised by the Parents' Association.

• Induction meeting for the parents of the new Junior Infants for September 2013 will take place on Wednesday, 12th June at 8pm.

• Second hand school book and worn uniform sale in the school hall on Tuesday, 25th June 2.45-3.45. This is a bring and buy sale.

• The End of Year ceremony for our 6th class pupils will take place on Wednesday, 26th June at 8pm.

• Our School Improvement Plan Summary has been added to our policy page.

• Sacraments 2013: Confirmation will take place on Thursday, 30th May, 2013 in Balscadden at 11.30am.
